Job Requirements Chantilly, VA Intel Agency (NSA, CIA, FBI, etc) Full Scope Polygraph Early Career (2+ yrs experience) $165,000 - $195,000 Job Description About This Role The Sponsor's office collaborates with internal and external offices to curate and contextualize enterprise-level information about Sponsor resources and activities in support of corporate metrics and increasing workforce effectiveness. The office integrates wide-ranging business data sets to create reliable and repeatable methodologies. We're seeking a Data Scientist to provide data analysis support that addresses complex business and intelligence questions at an enterprise level and translates complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative. Compensation $165,000 - $195,000 (depending on experience) Security Clearance Required TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly Key Responsibilities Provide data analysis support to address complex business and intelligence questions at an enterprise level Collaborate with internal and external offices to curate and contextualize enterprise-level information about Sponsor resources and activities Integrate wide-ranging business data sets to create reliable and repeatable methodologies Support corporate metrics and initiatives aimed at increasing workforce effectiveness Translate complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative for technical and non-technical audiences Build Power BI dashboards and lightweight web applications to present and interact with data Apply qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business and intelligence problems Transform, manipulate, and combine data from a variety of sources and structures using Python, SQL, and data preparation tools Create data visualization mockups and prototypes, document work processes, and demonstrate products to stakeholders Translate customer requirements into project or system specifications Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Demonstrated experience with Power BI (Tableau is not an acceptable substitute for this position) Demonstrated recent experience with Python and SQL Demonstrated ability to build lightweight web applications when a traditional dashboard is not the most effective method for presenting or interacting with data Demonstrated experience engaging in day-to-day technical execution Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following disciplines: business analytics, statistics, data verification and validation, and data visualization Demonstrated experience applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business or intelligence problems Demonstrated experience transforming, manipulating, and combining data using a programming language such as Python or using a data preparation tool Demonstrated experience using Excel Demonstrated experience conveying technical concepts to nontechnical audiences both verbally and in written analytic reports Demonstrated experience creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, documenting work processes, and effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated experience interpreting data models and working with a variety of data sources and structures Demonstrated experience translating customer requirements into project or system specifications Demonstrated experience as a self-starter with the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into actionable plans Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems (4 years of relevant data analysis experience with the IC or military may substitute in lieu of degree) Demonstrated experience with data derived from technical missions, taskings, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor business or mission data, Sponsor applications, or Sponsor database structures Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's data handling procedures Demonstrated experience using GitHub or similar version control systems Demonstrated experience using Python or R What We Offer Competitive salary: $165,000 - $195,000 (based on experience) 6% 401(k) match + 4% annual profit sharing Comprehensive health insurance 25 days
