Data Scientist Intern Location :

6-12 months Position Overview The Data Scientist Intern supports data‑driven decision‑making by cleaning, exploring, and analyzing large datasets, as well as assisting in the development of machine learning models. The intern collaborates with cross‑functional teams to automate processes and communicate insights through visualizations and reports. This role requires foundational skills in Python or R, SQL, and statistical analysis. Core Responsibilities Data Preparation Clean, structure, and validate large datasets obtained from various sources. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, relationships, and patterns within datasets. Model Development Assist in developing, testing, and validating machine learning models to support key business initiatives. Visualization & Reporting Create dashboards and visualizations (e.g., using SAS or PowerBI) to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. Collaboration Work closely with engineering, product, and other cross‑functional teams to solve complex business problems. Required Skills & Qualifications Education Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, ora related discipline. Ideally, in Year 3 of Data Science Program. Programming & Data Tools Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation. Machine Learning Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and methodologies. Analytical Skills Strong mathematical reasoning and problem‑solving abilities.
