Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Lead Family Support Specialist serves in a support capacity and may independently handle a variety of situations involving interactions with providers and parents. This position reports to the Family Support Administrator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In the absence of the supervisor performs operational duties As part of the unit's leadership team, is responsible for 100 % of the file reviews processed by Specialists. Reviews must be completed timely and identify any corrections as needed May conduct trainings with FSS during orientation and technical assistance as directed by supervisor Assists supervisor with provider/parent contact for eligibility related issues Verifies provider contracted status for child enrollment purposes upon case reviews Answers compliance questions from family support specialist Generates referrals to child care resource and referral (CCR&R) Performs related duties as required
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:
Microsoft Office Suite Enhanced Field System (EFS- MOD)
Experience and Training:
Associate degree Minimum 2 years of eligibility or redetermination experience, with no performance improvement plan or any case of disciplinary action within the last 12 months Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and research Training, education and/or experience may be substituted for certain minimum qualifications

$19.23 per hour
