Position Summary The Business Intelligence Specialist performs data-informed tasks and routines for relationship building and sales enablement by orchestrating actions across multiple platforms in support of the Shares Team and organizational strategies. This role is responsible for preparing, segmenting, and deploying data within workflows in support of targeted campaigns and offers, internal contact management, and participating in tracking of outcomes/results. They should be comfortable connecting and utilizing varied data sources and capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders. By synthesizing data from contact management systems, messaging platforms, and other relevant sources, the specialist defines/evaluates consumer and business segments, assesses opportunity propensity, and ensures data is deployable across appropriate touchpoints. This individual may be tasked with providing ongoing assessments, performing A/B testing, addressing data hygiene needs, assisting with accurate forecasting, and reporting ROI to ensure high performance standards are achieved. Their work informs strategic decisions by evaluating alternatives, weighing the risk versus reward of decisions, and identifying competitive advantages and threats, considering market conditions, seasonality, and the broader landscape. The Business Intelligence Specialist conveys insights to the Shares Team for aiding in the development of compelling narratives to tell the story beyond mere data reporting and ensuring that Shares Team's efforts are data-driven, member-centric, adaptable, and aligned with organizational strategy. They offer feedback on developed assets produced by the Shares Team, including reports and other insight delivery formats. This role performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Work Environment & Physical Activity Normal Knowledge Requirements Ability to gather and analyze data as well as reinterpret it for a generalized audience understanding. Highly organized and detail-minded with a relentless zest for data integrity Agility to adapt to emerging technologies Knowledge in statistics, including statistical tests, distributions, and linear regression. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Skill to capture competitive information and portray it in a meaningful and intelligible format. Highly proficient in the use of MS Office suite, MS Excel, and Power BI in particular. Strong proficiency with contact management software/tools as well as email/sms/mobile push delivery platforms Adheres to all federal, state, and credit union regulations and policies. Education and/or Experience 0-2 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, CRM Management, and/or Marketing Automation, desired High School diploma or equivalent Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
