Job Description

Our Compliance department is looking to hire a Data Specialist! This person will be responsible for preparing and producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for a multitude of programs and services. This person will also prepare reports and templates related to the Quality Assurance process for different programs and services.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Degree or GED ( Required ) Bachelor's degree ( Preferred ) in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience) At least 2 years' experience in a social service field or healthcare-related field
Core Competencies:
Proven experience in data management, quality assurance, or data hygiene roles. Proficiency in data cleansing tools, database management systems, and data analysis software. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments.
Job Duties/ Skills Required:
Data Quality Assurance:
Develop and enforce data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across databases and systems. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and rectify data inconsistencies, duplications, and errors.
Data Cleaning and Standardization:
Implement cleaning processes to enhance data quality, including data deduplication, normalization, and validation. Utilize tools and software to clean and standardize data sets, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data entry processes and workflows. Identify opportunities to enhance data collection, storage, and retrieval methods for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation on data cleaning procedures, standards, and best practices. Generate regular reports on data quality metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and progress made.
Training and Support:
Provide guidance and training to staff members on data hygiene best practices, ensuring a clear understanding of data quality requirements. Offer support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve data-related issues and inquiries. Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to data management (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus
