The Data and Systems Coordinator supports the Director of Practice Management Systems in optimizing data workflows, maintaining practice management systems, and providing data-driven insights to support organizational strategy across the agency. This role works collaboratively across departments to streamline processes, improve system functionality, and ensure data integrity and compliance. In addition to agency-wide responsibilities, this role operates in support of grant-funded and special projects, providing data coordination and systems support under the secondary direction of the assigned Grant or Project Director for the duration of those projects. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, capable of managing competing priorities across multiple reporting structures, and committed to supporting the organization's mission. RequirementsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Director of Practice Management Systems to maintain and improve the agency's EHR/EMR and other practice management systems, ensuring they align with organizational needs and goals. Support the design and implementation of system workflows, updates, and integrations with other platforms to improve efficiency and interoperability. Develop and maintain data reporting tools and dashboards to track organizational performance, compliance metrics, and other key performance indicators. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems, supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and grant reporting. Provide training and guidance to end users on system usage, reporting tools, and established workflows. Serve as an additional resource for troubleshooting system issues, collaborating with the Director of Practice Management Systems and various internal working groups. Work closely with the Director of Practice Management Systems to assess the agency's operational needs and support planning for organizational expansion. Document workflows related to the Practice Management Systems Department, create user guides, and develop tools that enhance staff efficiency, understanding, and collaboration with the Department of Practice Management Systems.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Proficiency in SQL and database management. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms. Familiarity with practice management systems (EHR/EMR) and system integration processes. (preferred) Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including clinical, administrative, medical, and leadership teams.Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2). Experience with grant reporting and compliance requirements. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R).Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, public health, epidemiology, or related field required. Minimum of two years of experience in database support or coordination.
