Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is primarily responsible for owning the integrity, consistency and accuracy of all Scheduling and Planning Master Data. The Master Data Manager plays a business-critical role to identify, analyze, and implement all required process checks and ensure Master Data supports intended purpose while driving continuous improvement, cross functional problem solving and process enablement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily updates and inputs to all Master Data tables: Document and define existing data structure Establish, maintain and train Standard Work on data entry across all departmental data entry roles Drive process discipline and dependencies on content owners. Audit all master data quality to identify root causes, correct anomalies and report areas in need of improvement in support of internal customers: Planning factors: BOM, Scrap Factor/Yield, Run Rates Shop Floor Calendar Labor Resource Calendar Change Over To/From tables Substitutions (FG,WIP and Raw Materials) Apply value added analytics/engineering to assure data tables support intended purpose: Standards / Data Cleansing / Trends / Outliers / Improvement / Configuration Functionality of Data/Feeds enabling Planning Systems (Powershop) to drive Optimized Schedule behavior: Part/Machine mapping and sequencing Part/Tool mapping and sequencing Machine/Tool mapping and sequencing Communicate and liaise between business units and departments to thoroughly understand business requirements and the impact of master data additions and changes Work cross-functionally with various departments in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to master data Support end-to-end testing of master data systems and processes Improve, develop and establish mass change procedures and methodologies as necessary Create and/or prepare various reports including status, activity, follow up and any others as requested by management
SKILLS REQUIRED
Data Base Management Skills Advanced experience in Supply Chain data structures Outstanding Analytical Skills Outstanding Problem Solving Skills High technical proficiency in Excel, Access and/or SQL including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to successfully work both collaboratively and autonomously Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact Strong organization, follow-up and time management skills along with the ability to effectively multi-task A high level of trustworthiness and the ability to achieve integrity on all levels Professional image and the ability to effectively represent the company both externally and internally Self-motivated and self-disciplined EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
4-year degree preferred; emphasis in Supply Chain 2-4 years' experience in a Master Data Management Role and/or related field Project Management Experience in a multifunctional environment People Management Experience is a plus. APICs CPIM or equivalent certification is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Highly articulate orator with advanced communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate on all levels in various formats is essential.

Ability to analyze, compare, contrast and synthesize information in an efficient and effective manner is important. Ability to process data and information in an organized manner and generate ideas and recommendations is essential.

Food Safety Responsibilities:
Monitors and verifies activities to ensure that finished goods and raw materials are coming in and out of the facility meet consumer safety and quality standards. Complies with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures Reports any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured products to the location's Food Safety Team Leader and submits an appropriate incident report

Work is performed in an office environment or outside the office with existing or potential customers, employees or others. Within the office, floors are both carpeted and tiled. Occasional interaction may occur within the Operations environment wherein noise is moderate to loud and floors are generally concrete. Temperature is moderated by heat in the winter and air conditioning or air circulation methods in the summer.
