Job Description
The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Job Summary To support the ministry's administrative and operational functions by maintaining accurate and organized data related to interments, plots, and family records across multiple cemetery locations. Job Responsibilities Accurately enter, update, and maintain cemetery records and interment data in the organization's management systems. Audit and reconcile existing digital and paper records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Assist with mapping projects by helping to connect burial and crypt data with digital or GIS-based cemetery maps. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Archdiocesan data privacy and recordkeeping standards. Collaborate with other administrative and operations team members to improve data quality and workflow efficiency. Job Requirements Associate's or bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience in a faith-based, nonprofit, or service-oriented environment is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook). Familiarity with database and cemetery management software is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Discretion and respect for confidential information. A demonstrated respect for the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
