Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a eDiscovery Specialist for a contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid) . You will support the eDiscovery Operations Legal Team by managing data identification, collection, and transfer for litigation and regulatory matters.
Rate Range:
$25/hour to $29/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
eDiscovery Specialist job responsibilities include:
Work closely with other eDiscovery team members to ensure prompt and accurate execution of requests to identify, collect, and transfer data requested in litigation and regulatory matters. Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate execution of data identification, collection, and transfer for litigation and regulatory matters. Managing a portfolio of cases, ensuring timely completion of data collections through delivery. Conducting complex custodial research to identify and collect required data sources. Performing data collection tasks for critical enterprise data sources like Microsoft 365 Exchange and SharePoint. Inputting queries and performing quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of collected data. Completing internal collections through the barcoding process for data preservation. Troubleshooting collection failures and stalled collections. Ensuring data transfers are completed and prepared for delivery with quality checks. Meeting daily/weekly productivity targets and supporting data delivery functions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in an electronic discovery or IT-related field. Prior experience with Microsoft 365 suite of tools, including Microsoft Purview. Knowledge of Cyber Forensics tools/processes or experience with data acquisitions. Pay Details:
