Enrollment Data Specialist Madison, WI $32.14/hour Long-Term Temporary Assignment Hybrid Schedule Premier Staffing Source, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Enrollment Data Specialist to support a public-sector benefits administration organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of eligibility, enrollment, and benefits administration data across multiple systems, employers, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a highly collaborative environment. This organization administers a variety of benefit programs for active, inactive, and retired public employees, including health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, disability programs, deferred compensation, and long-term care insurance. Key Responsibilities Support program managers and case managers in resolving eligibility and enrollment inquiries. Research and resolve discrepancies between internal systems, employer records, and vendor platforms. Conduct data audits, salary audits, file comparisons, and reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity. Analyze enrollment and eligibility information to identify errors, inconsistencies, and trends. Support life insurance enrollment administration and premium waiver processes. Assist with vendor file discrepancy resolution following system implementations and updates. Monitor and troubleshoot eligibility and enrollment file transmissions, including 834 files and SFTP processes. Support testing, validation, and quality assurance activities for system and vendor updates. Develop and document procedures related to enrollment and eligibility administration. Collaborate with technical staff, vendors, employers, and business teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Required Qualifications Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Experience researching, interpreting, and applying policies, procedures, regulations, or business rules. Experience analyzing and comparing large data sets to identify discrepancies and trends. Experience troubleshooting data issues and documenting findings and resolutions. Working knowledge of eligibility, enrollment, data exchange processes, or file layouts. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including: Formulas Filtering and sorting Pivot Tables Lookup functions Ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and priorities. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with benefits administration, insurance enrollment, payroll, HRIS, or eligibility systems. Experience with vendor file management, reconciliation, or data validation. Familiarity with healthcare, insurance, retirement, or public-sector benefit programs. Experience supporting system implementations, testing, or quality assurance efforts.
