Senior Data Warehouse Developer (M204 Database Experience)

Austin, TX (Hybrid) 3 Days Remote 2 Days Onsite (Monday & Tuesday)

Candidates must currently reside in the Austin, TX metropolitan area. Position Overview Senior Data Warehouse Developer with strong experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, Data Modeling, Database Administration, Business Intelligence, and reporting technologies. Experience with M204 (Model 204) databases is highly preferred. The selected candidate will support database administration, performance tuning, security, disaster recovery, data modeling, ETL development, reporting, and enterprise data warehouse initiatives. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise database environments. Design, modify, and maintain database structures and schemas. Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Establish database security controls and user access management. Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies. Perform logical and physical data modeling activities. Develop and maintain data dictionaries, standards, and database documentation. Support data warehouse development, maintenance, and data mart implementation. Assist with database migrations and software upgrades. Evaluate and recommend database technologies and software solutions. Collaborate with technical and business teams to support reporting and analytical needs. Ensure database integrity, security, accessibility, and compliance standards are maintained. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of Data Warehouse development and administration experience. Strong knowledge of database management systems and decision support tools. Experience developing and maintaining Data Warehouses and Data Marts. Experience building and maintaining Data Dictionaries. Strong SQL development experience. Experience with: Data Warehousing Data Modeling ETL Development Database Performance Tuning Database Security Disaster Recovery Experience with Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and highly normalized data models. Experience using ETL tools such as: Informatica IBM WebSphere DataStage Similar ETL technologies Experience with enterprise databases such as: Oracle SQL Server Teradata Experience with reporting and BI tools such as: Business Objects Cognos Hyperion MicroStrategy Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Oracle Database experience. SSRS report development experience. M204 (Model 204) database experience. Experience supporting large-scale government or enterprise data warehouse environments.
