Job Description

You have excellent oral and written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail. You enjoy working with technology, computers, and data — and you don't mind spending significant time in spreadsheets. You can stay focused and accurate when reviewing and inputting large volumes of product information. Automotive interest or experience is a genuine plus, and a curiosity about how parts work will help you succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain high-quality product data across AAM's internal systems and external platforms, including descriptions, specifications, attributes, and pricing
  • Classify products within AAM's unique category/sub-category taxonomy and assign Series designations to product lines
  • Create PIES cataloging data and ACES application data using catalog management software
  • Define and establish AAM Standard Attributes for product categories across multiple brand lines
  • Collect assets and develop enhanced data sets for product lines requiring enrichment
  • Assign product keywords and recommend taxonomy additions or changes to improve user experience
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support catalog updates, e-commerce listings, and reporting needs
  • Utilize supplier websites, catalogs, and other resources to research and verify product information
  • Assist in process improvements and adopt new tools or systems as needed Qualifications Required Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, etc.
) Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, data-driven environment Preferred Automotive knowledge or experience in the aftermarket industry Familiarity with PIES and/or ACES data standards Experience with catalog management platforms or product information management (PIM) tools Experience managing or enriching large product datasets Comfort using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to support data research, content drafting, or workflow efficiency
