Database Administrator Genesis10 life insurance, 401(k) United States, Arizona, Chandler May 07, 2026 Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a subject matter expert, this role involves the design, development, and implementation of complex databases using new technologies. The ideal candidate will work under minimal supervision on complex problems, manage multiple projects, and provide technical leadership on special initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex databases Manage multiple, moderately complex projects and direct team activities for special initiatives or operations Analyze situations or data that require an in-depth evaluation of various factors Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for obtaining results Provide work leadership by assigning tasks and resolving problems

Requirements:

10+ years of experience with SQL Server Administration Expertise in AlwaysOn performance and tuning, including for large, high-tier environments Desired skills: Previous experience as an Application DBA in a large enterprise environment Strong sense of problem ownership and client accountability Proven ability to deliver within a project-driven environment with minimal supervision Linux experience is a plus Proficiency with Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python) Experience automating operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance activities related to NoSQL environments Pay range: $55.13 - $63.13 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
