DBA - SQL Server

Sr DBA with strong design, performance, troubleshooting skills, customer interactive skills and team player. High volume but team environment. Multiple high profile or critical applications supported. Linux knowledge as well as SQL will be helpful. Look for a strong senior ms sql dba to hop in to a high pressure and high volume environment. They will be responsible for completing multiple projects. They'll be supporting projects for DMTEA and possibly some GIS.? We are cross training on multiple systems. Splunk experience would be helpful. 10+ years with SQL Server Administration. Participates in design, development and implementation of complex databases, often using new technologies. Viewed as the subject matter expert for the team. Manages multiple moderately complex projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Troubleshooting and process responsibilities. Support a dozen or so projects - initially heavily

migrations to

SQL 2022.

Additionally support SQL BAU for core business functions including DMTEA and GIS. On-Call responsibilities and after hours work expected. Frequent troubleshooting and proactive stability maintenance. Manages multiple, moderately complex projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. AlwaysOn performance and tuning including for large high tier environments. Comfortable with using Query Stroe for troubleshooting. MS SQL, SSDS, SSRS, SSIS, Query Store, Linux Strong troubleshooting. Project experience. Redis, Dynatrace, Splunk, TigerGraph, other RDBMS. Primary Skill MS SQL Server Desired Skills Prior Bank Experience. Splunk. Other RDBMS like TigerGraph or Redis or Cockarouch.
