Senior Database Administrator

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Database Administrator III to join their team. As a Database Administrator III, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting multiple project initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

$65.13 What's the Job? Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex database solutions using new technologies. Manage multiple projects, including

SQL 2016

migrations to SQL 2022, and support core business functions such as DMTEA and GIS. Troubleshoot performance issues and proactively maintain system stability across high-tier environments. Support SQL BAU activities and provide on-call support during after-hours as needed. Lead technical knowledge sharing and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals. What's Needed? 10+ years of experience in SQL Server Administration, including AlwaysOn performance tuning. Prior experience with Bank of America (BoA) systems is highly preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Query Store, and Linux knowledge. Experience with other RDBMS such as TigerGraph, Redis, or CockroachDB is a plus. Excellent customer interaction skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. What's in it for me?
