Senior ETL Developer#26-10477 Chandler, AZ All On-site Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer / Support Engineer with strong experience in designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica BDE, Hadoop ecosystem, and production support environments. This role requires a mix of development, performance tuning, and on-call support responsibilities to ensure reliable and efficient data pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica BDE Convert business requirements into technical design specifications and ETL mappings Build and manage data pipelines across Oracle, SQL Server, HDFS, Teradata, DB2, and flat files Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes with high data quality standards Migrate ETL jobs from PowerCenter to Big Data environments (BDE/Hadoop) Implement and optimize ETL workflows for performance tuning and reduced runtime Automate ETL processes using Autosys and shell scripting Use tools like Sqoop for data movement between Hadoop and relational databases Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production ETL issues, ensuring SLA compliance Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and performance bottlenecks Perform unit testing, QA validation, and debugging of ETL workflows Support on-call production activities and incident management using tools like ServiceNow Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and enhancements Maintain documentation including technical specs, workflows, and knowledge transfer materials Mentor junior developers and support offshore teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field 5+ years of ETL development experience Strong hands-on experience with: Informatica PowerCenter & Informatica BDE SQL, PL/SQL Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Yarn) Experience with Autosys or similar scheduling tools Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL design patterns Experience working with multiple data sources (Oracle, DB2, Teradata, SQL Server) Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux and shell scripting Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in production environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with AccelQ or automation testing tools Knowledge of data migration and ETL modernization projects Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA/Confluence Experience in performance tuning techniques (caching, partitioning, indexing, etc.) Informatica certification (preferred)
