Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician with hands-on experience in data center operations, networking, and fiber optic infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rack installations, fiber cabling, hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and maintaining network equipment within a data center environment. Key Requirements Experience working in a Data Center environment Strong networking knowledge CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills Responsibilities Rack & Hardware Installation Mount and install server/network racks Install and configure patch panels Install fiber optic cabling and hardware Perform grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling as required Fiber Optic Installation & Support Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber connections Terminate simplex and duplex jumper cords Install and maintain fiber connectors including:
LC SC ST FC FDDI SMA MPO/MTP
Work with both single-mode and multi-mode fiber networks Operations & Maintenance Manage and close service tickets efficiently Maintain accurate inventory records of network devices and equipment Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting activities Required Skills Fiber optic installation and termination experience Knowledge of structured cabling standards Networking fundamentals Ticket management systems experience Inventory management experience Physical Requirements Ability to work at heights and on ladders Ability to work in confined spaces Ability to distinguish colors accurately for cable identification Ability to read small print and recognize audible signals when required Capable of lifting and handling equipment used in data center environments Apply Now If you have experience in data center operations, fiber infrastructure, and network installations, we'd love to hear from you.
