Hourly Rate:
$33.00- $43.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain data center infrastructure including servers, racks, networking equipment, and storage devices.
- Perform structured cabling installations and maintenance to ensure optimal connectivity and organization within the data center environment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and cabling issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and performance of data center equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, configurations, and maintenance activities for reference and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with other teams including network engineers, system administrators, and facilities personnel to support data center operations and projects.
- Follow industry best practices and standards for data center operations, including safety protocols and security measures.
- Respond to data center emergencies and outages as needed, including after-hours and on-call support. Apply now!
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant college degree preferred.
- Min 5 years or experience (preferred)
- Prior experience in data center operations, infrastructure installation, or related field.
- Proficiency in structured cabling techniques and standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
- Familiarity with data center equipment including servers, switches, and storage devices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
