ASAP Role Overview This position is designed for individuals seeking long-term dedication, serious commitment, and a career path in the data center industry . This is an entry-level contract-to-hire opportunity where skills are not required, but preferred . Primary Scope of Work (SOW) Installation, routing, and dressing of pre-terminated fiber and copper cabling Cable termination Cable testing and validation Cable labeling Structured cabling infrastructure support Troubleshooting basic connectivity issues Quality control and task completion in hyperscale data center environments Main SOW will be cable installation, testing, and termination for hyperscale data centers , regionally and occasionally out of town. Experience is not needed but preferred , especially data center fit-out or low-voltage work. Shift & Schedule Requirements 24/7 operations environment Shifts 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM Must be willing to work 6×12-hour shifts regularly (72 hours/week) Attendance and punctuality are critical to project success Travel Willingness to travel is needed Plenty of work in the local area Interview & Hiring Timeline 3-Step Screening Process 1 week to hire Onsite start requires: Drug screen Background check Reliable Vehicle Tools & PPE Requirements Provided by Company PPE (standard issue) Technician Responsibility Class C Type 2 Hard Hat or any hard hat with: Visor Chin strap Work Boots — Steel Toe or Composite Tools Needed Basic hand tools Snips required (especially for cable installation) No advanced tooling experience required — must be teachable Benefits After Direct Hire 15 Days PTO annually 10 Paid Company Holiday Days 401k Match (3% after 90 days) Full Health Benefits including Dental and Vision HSA Plan Options Available Leads/Foremen eligible for company vehicles Leadership roles may receive company vehicles #tekone
