The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and management, as well as experience working with healthcare data. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL databases, as well as creating and optimizing queries to support our data analysis and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to store and manage healthcare data Work closely with our data analysts to understand data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures and protocols Collaborate with other members of the IT team to integrate databases with other systems and applications Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology to continuously improve our systems and processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Experience working with healthcare data and HIPAA regulations Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries Experience with database administration and performance tuning Familiarity with ETL processes and tools Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration skills
