Data Center Technician

TechPlus Solutions is seeking experienced and dependable Data Center Technicians to join our team. We are looking for individuals with hands-on experience in data center environments who take pride in producing clean, organized, and high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

Rack and stack network, server, and hardware equipment Install, dress, label, and manage copper and fiber cabling Pull, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling Pull, route, and install fiber optic cabling Install cable trays, ladder racks, and support systems Read and interpret prints, rack elevations, and scope of work documents Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to data center standards Follow all site safety procedures and customer requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a data center environment required Experience with rack and stack installations Ability to pull and terminate Cat6 cabling Experience pulling and dressing fiber optic cable Strong cable management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and ability to pass required background screenings OSHA 10/30, lift certifications, or manufacturer certifications are a plus

Preferred Skills:

Copper and fiber testing experience Experience with structured cabling standards Familiarity with labeling and documentation best practices Ability to work in fast-paced, mission-critical environment

Schedule:
