Job Description:

About the Role We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing IT team supporting a leading manufacturer and distributor of Beauty, Skincare, and Personal Care products. This role supports over 400 users across an organization of 500-1,000 employees and offers flexible working hours in a collaborative, success-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience administering Microsoft SQL Server databases within a manufacturing environment, along with exposure to ERP and WMS systems. This position is responsible for ensuring database reliability, performance, security, and availability while supporting critical business applications and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments. Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Monitor database performance and execute tuning and optimization initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to minimize downtime. Manage database security, user access, and compliance requirements. Support high-availability solutions including Always On Availability Groups, clustering, and replication. Maintain and enhance enterprise data warehouses and reporting environments. Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and T-SQL. Support EDI production processes and integrations. Maintain and support Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams on database initiatives. Analyze and support ERP system data, with emphasis on Epicor Kinetic environments. Create reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions to support operational needs. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by IT Management. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration experience. 5+ years of database analysis experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Epicor ERP/Kinetic.

SQL Server Administration Performance Monitoring and Tuning SQL Query Optimization Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery Database Security and Compliance High Availability Solutions (Always On, Clustering, Replication) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including: Pivot Tables

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

Data Modeling Data Analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Preferred Qualifications Epicor Kinetic ERP experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience supporting EDI production processes. Knowledge of DevOps practices. Programming experience with Python, Java, JSON, or related technologies. Experience with data warehouse architecture and business intelligence reporting.
