Ensure optimal performance and high availability for databases in high volume 24x7operations to meet or exceed service metrics. Develop database monitoring and reporting tools. Develop and implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies. Create procedures and implement periodic testing of the strategies. Set up and maintain effective backup, restore and verification procedures for databases. Develop and implement operational support plans and procedures for database Unix, Solaris, Linux and RMAN.
