In addition to the day-to-day management of the database, which includes daily implementation of gift/pledge processing and data entry activities for Villa Esperanza, this position is responsible for strengthening standard operating procedures for data entry and database usage to ensure consistency. The Database Administrator provides high level administrative support to the team, including events, and works closely with the finance department with reconciliation of monies. The ideal candidate enjoys spreadsheets and data queries and will be looking for a heads-down, self-driven role running reports and maintaining clean records, while taking pride in making a difference in the community and being part of a team. Duties and Responsibilities to include but are not limited to: Serve as the primary administrator and expert for DonorPerfect (DP) database, including managing user access and system permissions. Oversee the day-to-day management and regularly scheduled maintenance of the donor database to ensure the integrity, security, and quality of all data. Manage data imports and exports from various sources, such as online donation platforms, event software, etc., ensuring seamless integration. Work with IT to create an organization-wide work application and database for ease of outcome and program data collection. Record and track all donor gifts/pledges weekly. Improve the workflow related to the collection of demographic forms. Improve workflow of grant expenditures between grant team, programs and finance. Support Philanthropy team with data inquiries and reports (e.g., gift lists, donor lists, mailing lists, etc.). Reconcile end of the month deposit batches and Capital Campaign tracking with finance. Using DP, OneCause, and Clover, provide technical support to the team in preparation of events. Manage registration, check-in, cashiering, auction platform and checkout for events. Responsible for the maintenance and updates of the website; enhance SEO to boost performance. Manage Google Ads and all back-end development for online review sites such as Yelp, Google, etc. Versed in weekly processing of checks and donor acknowledgments (thank you letters), notifications, and pledge letters. Other duties/special projects as assigned such as: administrative assistance, attend team staff meetings, maintain confidentiality of clients, families, donors, etc., handle other tasks as assigned.
Salary Range:
$20.00•$24.00/hour, DOE.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:30 AM•5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications/Requirements:

A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience maintaining a database or CRM including data cleansing, back up and audits. Familiarity with database query structure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) and Word. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Detailed-oriented and organized. Problem solver willing to help yourself and others overcome challenges and roadblocks. Team player, willingness to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. High level of integrity, diplomacy and initiative. Satisfactorily complete a background fingerprinting clearance from DOJ/FBI Community Care Licensing/Dept. of Social Services and California Department of Public Health. Satisfactorily complete a physical and Tuberculosis (TB) screenings. Preferred Skills Experience with DonorPerfect Experience with Squarespace Familiarity with implementation of SEO strategies Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional Previous customer service experience
