This role is responsible for implementing fire prevention strategies, responding to fire-related incidents, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with international EHS and fire safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in fire safety management within mission-critical environments such as data centers, industrial facilities, or large-scale infrastructure operations. This position requires strong coordination skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Implement, coordinate, and continuously improve fire safety programs and procedures across AMER data center operations. Lead and coordinate real-time emergency response activities related to fire safety incidents, minimizing risks to personnel, facilities, and business operations. Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments, identify critical hazards, and drive implementation of corrective and preventive measures. Develop, maintain, and improve fire safety documentation, including SOPs, emergency procedures, inspection checklists, training materials, and compliance records. Ensure compliance with local fire regulations, international EHS standards, ISO 45001 requirements, and company safety policies. Collaborate closely with EHS, operations, facilities, engineering, maintenance, and project teams to integrate fire safety requirements into daily activities and operational changes. Support audits, inspections, drills, emergency exercises, and compliance evaluations across regional sites. Organize and deliver fire safety training, awareness campaigns, and emergency preparedness programs for employees and contractors. Monitor corrective action plans, track incident investigations, and ensure timely closure of identified safety issues. Promote a strong safety culture through continuous communication, training, and operational engagement. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire safety, emergency response, or EHS operations. Experience working in data centers, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, mission-critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial environments. Strong knowledge of fire prevention systems, emergency response procedures, and fire protection regulations. Familiarity with international EHS standards, ISO 45001, local fire codes, and compliance management practices. Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective action management, and safety training. Professional working proficiency in English. Strong communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proactive mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience supporting multi-site or international operations within the AMER region. Chinese language skills are considered a plus. Experience working with local authorities, fire departments, and regulatory agencies. Certifications related to fire safety, EHS, OSHA, or emergency management are advantageous.
