Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join our team in Windsor, Connecticut. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing databases to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Power BI administration, relational databases, and data integration to drive efficient data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL databases to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Oversee Power BI workspaces, datasets, and reporting tools to support business intelligence needs.
- Develop and implement data integration strategies, including working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for database systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.
- Perform database backups, recovery, and upgrades as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical stakeholders regarding database-related functions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline operations.
