Job Description

job summary: Accelerate your career in fintech as a hybrid data expert and growth strategist, driving the lifecycle performance of our consumer credit card portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Management, you will leverage enterprise data tools like SQL, Tableau, and Databricks to transform raw insights into high-impact acquisition and retention strategies. If you are a senior analyst who loves balancing hands-on technical execution with high-level business impact, this high-visibility, 6-month contract is built for you.

  • 65 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Drive portfolio growth and lifecycle performance across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and win-back strategies to increase spend, balances, and revenueDefine and manage portfolio KPIs, including performance tracking, metric standardization, and development of executive-level dashboards and reportingAnalyze portfolio performance and member behavior to identify trends, profitable segments, and actionable opportunities for growth and optimizationDevelop and deliver data-driven insights that inform product, marketing, and business decisions, including campaign performance, A/B testing, and initiative measurementDesign, build, and maintain scalable reporting solutions (e.
g., Tableau, SQL), ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integration across multiple enterprise data sourcesPartner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Data Intelligence, and Operations teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions and drive execution of portfolio strategiesLead and support portfolio initiatives, including business case development, prioritization, and implementation of programs that enhance member engagement and experienceEstablish repeatable reporting and analytics processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen governance and scalabilityMonitor competitive landscape and industry trends to identify new product features, capabilities, and growth opportunitiesEnsure overall portfolio governance and performance oversight, including regular business reviews, tracking against targets, and continuous improvement of portfolio strategies qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent
  • experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, credit cards, or portfolio analytics
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence roles
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive business decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into business insights
  • Experience with SQL and data querying (or similar tools)
  • Experience building or working with dashboards and reporting tools (Tableau(preferred), Power
  • BI, or similar)
  • Ability to define and track KPIs and measure business performance
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present insights to stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
  • Experience in credit card or consumer lending portfolio management
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments (Product, Marketing, Analytics)
  • Exposure to campaign performance, lifecycle strategies, or customer engagement analytics
  • Understanding of credit card products, lifecycle management, or payments ecosystem
  • Experience with Tableau (or similar visualization tools) for dashboard development
  • Familiarity with data integration and working across multiple data sources
  • Experience with A/B testing, campaign analytics, or segmentation strategies
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory or compliance considerations in financial services
