Position Description:

We CGI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Python SQL Developer to join our U.S. Client team. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals to work in a collaborative environment supporting client-facing projects and internal data initiatives. The selected candidate will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data-driven solutions leveraging Python and SQL technologies. This position is located at client site in Bloomfield, CT.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and scripts .Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects .Support data integration and ETL processes across multiple systems .Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable solutions .Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and clients .Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning .Document technical designs, processes, and code artifacts in accordance with CGI standards Required qualifications to be successful in this role: At least 02 years of experience with Python development (academic or internship experience acceptable) Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
