ETL/SQL Developer

Job Description:

Computer Consultant Level 10 CBP- Custom Border Protection Knowledge, skills, education and/or experience: Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience. 3 years experience in a data integration space, understanding ETL operations, steps and scope of work. 3 years experience writing SQL queries (intermediate to advanced) with no affinity to any particular brand of database. 4 to 5 years using Excel. 3 years experience in an Enterprise development organization, understanding general procedures and scheduling of code migrations. 3 years experience understanding various aspects of an RDBMS and how applications interact with database functions. 3 years experience interpreting other people s code in any language to understand what a routine is doing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, implement, maintain and support monitoring solutions for enterprise systems and platforms. Develops and maintains standards and guidelines for implementing IT automation and monitoring. Determine the minimum requirements of various infrastructure software for proper maintenance and upkeep for a small team that wear multiple hats per person. Oversees infrastructure architecture, including the analysis, selection and deployment of emerging technologies. Oversees major tool implementations and/or upgrades. Provides SWOT analysis regarding hardware, software and server requirements for implementation. Provides training to provide backup coverage for this position to junior members of the team.
