This position is expected to operate as a senior, architecture-aware technical resource supporting production delivery with minimal ramp-up time. The Senior ETL Developer serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, implementing, refining, and supporting complex ETL pipelines, data integration workflows, and transformation logic in support of enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. The Senior ETL Developer must understand data modeling, source-to-target mapping, business rule implementation, upstream and downstream impacts, and enterprise data governance considerations. This position works closely with Data Analysts, Power BI Developers, Power Apps Developers, Technical Project Managers, Scrum Masters, testers, technical writers, and Government stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions. What you'll do: Be available on Government site in Washington, DC during normal hours of operation.

Core Concepts:

Data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data Migration, ETL process and Business Intelligence.

Data Modeling:

Data modeling design, analysis and implementation - conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, data conversion, data integration and data mining specialization in the area of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.

Development:

Installing, configuring, developing, supporting, and maintaining the BI APPS .

Data Processing:

Developing ETL's using Informatica to facilitate Extraction Transformation and data load from OLTP systems to OLAP systems .

Schema:

Designing schema using KPIs, Fact, Dimensions, Physical, Logical, Alias and Extension tables. Building business models and established relationships and foreign keys (physical & logical) between tables. Creating LDAP authentication to enable single sign on for users in development environment leveraging analytics repository. Using Informatica Mapping Designer to create/update mapping using different transformations required to move data into data warehouse. Providing recommendations and identifying critical issues and processing faults as it pertains to data modeling, ETLs, and Informatica. Support multiple business lines and enterprise priorities as required. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in computer science or other technical disciplines ( an additional 10 years of experience can substitute for a degree ). 15+ years' experience in ETL tools , especially Informatica and data warehousing applications. 10+ years' experience developing and tuning complex SQL queries in Oracle relational database. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance .

Preferred/Desired:

Experience supporting federal government customers in enterprise data warehouse, analytics, or reporting environments. Experience with enterprise ETL tools such as Informatica or similar platforms . Experience supporting business intelligence and downstream reporting tools such as Power BI. Experience working in environments emphasizing documentation , repeatable delivery processes, and disciplined work tracking.
