Title:
Application Technical Lead Duties:
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise grade database solutions. Collaborate with solution architects and product owners to gather and understand requirements across various phases of the project lifecycle. Design and implement performance-optimized solutions for Oracle databases to meet business and technical needs. Conduct code reviews for production deployments, provide recommendations for optimization, execute deployments, and validate outcomes in live environments. Manage and monitor Oracle GoldenGate and Veri data replication tools, as well as Oracle SQL/PLSQL, to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Administer user access by configuring role-based access controls, creating and removing users based on defined access levels and compliance standards. Develop alerting and monitoring scripts and implement stored procedures and scheduled jobs to automate regular maintenance and monitoring tasks. Respond promptly to expedited data requests and urgent audit investigations involving fraud scenarios or security breaches. Perform regular and ad-hoc database backup and restore operations and facilitate data migration to development environments for analysis and testing. Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and maintain detailed documentation. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in database operations. Work closely with system administrators during patching, hardware replacements, firmware upgrades, reboots, or system failures to restore database services efficiently. Schedule and manage jobs for database housekeeping tasks including statistics collection, disk space monitoring, vacuuming, and log transmission to downstream reporting and data curation systems. Ensure that all project documentation complies with internal policies and external audit standards.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, (any) Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related IT occupation. Must have 5 years of experience with Oracle Golden Gate and Veridata, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Web Logic, Oracle Exadata, Oracle SQL/PL SQL, Splunk Enterprise, Elastic Search (RELK), Oracle Enterprise Manager, Redhat Linux 7 & 8, Oracle Linux 7 & 8, Grafana, Windows, BMC Control-M, Dynatrace, PaaS, Apache Kafka and OGG for Bigdata. 40 hours per week Job location: TPF Software, Inc. 1200 SW 145th Avenue, Suite 310, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027 & unanticipated locations throughout the US Submit resume to: via email to recruitment@tpfsoftware.com Must reference ATL26_DBA when applying.
