Database Administrator - DB2

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator with 15+ years of combined experience supporting enterprise database platforms, including DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS database environments . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database administration, performance tuning, infrastructure planning, operational support, and technical documentation. Required Experience The candidate must have 15 years of combined database administration experience with the following platforms: DB2 for z/OS SQL Server 2008R2 and 2012 Oracle 10g and above GIS database environments Primary Responsibilities The resource will perform database planning, administration, and operational support activities, including: Perform daily database administration and operational support Plan, design, implement, and support database structures Monitor and tune database performance Develop and maintain database procedures and documentation Perform SQL code reviews Support database and infrastructure change management activities Assist with training and mentoring technical staff Perform other database or infrastructure-related duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The candidate should have advanced knowledge of: DB2 for z/OS application integration, performance management, and database administration DB2 for z/OS upgrades DB2 for z/OS catalog maintenance DB2 for z/OS subsystem point-in-time recovery JCL z/OS integrated platform CA GEN model management and application object support
