Sr, DBA/Developer-Hybrid in West Palm This role is responsible for the administration, security, development, and optimization of SQL Server environments, owning the database lifecycle from performance tuning and HA/DR to schema design and T-SQL development. Benefits Medical/Dental/FSA Account (Coverage from employer varies on plan) Telehealth Vision Pet Insurance & Aflac Supplemental FRS (457b)/Pension Plan PTO & Holidays Key responsibilities: Install, configure, patch, monitor, and maintain SQL Server across production/stage/dev Performance monitoring and tuning (indexing, execution plans, query optimization) Backup/recovery plus high availability & disaster recovery (including Always On Availability Groups) Security hardening, RBAC/access controls, encryption (TDE/Always Encrypted), auditing/alerting, and compliance support Database development: schemas, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers; support integrations/ETL (SSIS where applicable) Technical leadership: mentoring, setting standards, code/design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration Required qualifications: 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA with hands-on performance tuning and HA/DR Strong T-SQL development and relational database design background Proven experience securing 100+ SQL Servers (hardening, access control, encryption, auditing) Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Azure SQL / Azure SQL Managed Instance / AWS RDS (Preferred/+) SSIS/SSRS/SSAS, PowerShell, and database CI/CD (Git/Azure DevOps, etc.) #SNIT
