Job Description

Data Center Technician Overview We're working with a rapidly expanding data centre operator delivering mission critical infrastructure across key US markets. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to bring on a Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations across a live facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who understands the importance of uptime, reliability, and operational excellence within a high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data centre systems Rack, stack, and cable servers, network equipment, and hardware Monitor power, cooling, and environmental systems to ensure optimal performance Respond to alarms and execute incident response procedures Support vendor activity and ensure work is completed safely and to standard Maintain accurate documentation of assets, procedures, and activities Assist with planned preventative maintenance and site audits Requirements Experience working in a data centre, critical environment, or similar technical setting Understanding of IT hardware, cabling infrastructure, and network basics Familiarity with power and cooling systems within mission critical facilities is preferred Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required What's on Offer Competitive salary with overtime opportunities Full benefits package including healthcare, PTO, and retirement options Exposure to large-scale, cutting-edge data centre environments Clear progression into engineering or operations roles Opportunity to work with a well-backed platform experiencing significant growth Why Join You'll be part of a team that plays a direct role in keeping critical infrastructure online.
