Monday-Friday | 100% Onsite | First Shift About the Role We are hiring a Dedicated Damage Inspector (DDI) to support a large-scale hyperscale data center environment. This role combines hands-on hardware inspection with cross-functional process improvement responsibilities focused on reducing hardware damage across data center operations. The ideal candidate will have strong server hardware knowledge, troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect damaged server hardware including motherboards, CPUs, DIMMs, drives, and related components Troubleshoot, diagnose, and determine repairability of hardware parts Use inspection tools such as microscopes, scopes, and ring lights to evaluate hardware damage Document findings, inspection outcomes, and part history within internal tracking systems Collaborate with logistics, build, repair, and data center operations teams to identify root causes of recurring damage Support process improvements and help develop inspection and handling SOPs Maintain strong attention to detail while managing high-volume workflows Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with server hardware troubleshooting or repair Experience working with enterprise systems, data center hardware, or electronics repair Strong understanding of hardware components and diagnostics Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and collaboration skills Basic experience with spreadsheets and documentation tools Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with team assistance Preferred Qualifications Prior hyperscale or data center experience Experience as a Data Center Repair Technician or Hardware QA Technician Background in server manufacturing, hardware validation, or electronics testing Experience with process improvement or operational troubleshooting
Pay:
$60.00 - $75.00 per hour
