The RoleRequired 10+ Years Mainframe application DBA support and Mainframe DB2 DBAWithin our Database Administration team at Kyndryl, you'll be a master of managing and administering the backbone of our technological infrastructure. You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.
Specific to the non-production environment, provides application development support for database management, logical database design, utilities for access control ,database reorganization, data integrity, data recovery, image copies and optimization.
Provides support for the definition, creation, and support of the data residing in the database management system, including the data schemas at the application level and data dictionary which includes data definitions, other meta data and support of the data environment.
Installs and maintains the DBMS software, including related tools and parameters .Creates and implements backup and recovery solution, monitoring and testing to ensure compliance with requirements.
Monitor database performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
Ensure integrity, availability and performance of DB2 zOS systems by providing technical support and maintenance.
Perform database enhancement and modification as per the requirements!
Assist in resource planning, space management and data maintenance activities for database system.
Identify and recommend database techniques to support business needs.
Assume personal responsibility for resolving problems in most effective way possible within SLA reaching root cause and preventing problemsYou'll be a strategic partner, working closely with various teams to coordinate systematic database project plans that align with our organizational goals. Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseRequired 10+ Years Mainframe application DBA support and MainframeDB2 DBA, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance.
