Job Description

We are looking for a talented SQL/C# Developer to join our team on a contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will focus on modernizing legacy systems, optimizing code, and managing data migrations to ensure seamless transitions to new database environments. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in C#, .NET, and SQL while contributing to the sustainability and efficiency of enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Extract and migrate data from existing systems into new database environments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Refactor and modernize legacy VB code, significantly reducing the codebase while enhancing readability and maintainability.
  • Consolidate and streamline application logic to improve long-term sustainability and performance.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues within legacy systems to ensure smooth operations and transitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database migrations with organizational goals.
  • Optimize relational database processes and implement best practices for data management.
  • Utilize Azure SQL Database to support cloud-based database solutions.
  • Work within the .NET framework to develop and maintain enterprise-level applications.
  • Follow coding standards and documentation practices to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Provide technical input and recommendations for improving system architecture and performance.
