Job Description
IFS ERP Administrator (Part‑Time / Fractional Consultant)5-12 Hours/Week • Remote • Flexible, Ad‑Hoc ScheduleAbout the OpportunityWe're supporting a client seeking a part‑time IFS ERP Administrator/Consultant to provide ongoing, ad‑hoc support for their IFS environment. This engagement averages 5-12 hours per week, with work levels that fluctuate depending on weekly and monthly business needs. This is an ideal role for an experienced IFS professional who enjoys flexible scheduling, meaningful ownership, and partnering closely with Finance and internal business teams.
What You'll DoYou will function as the internal IFS subject‑matter expert—supporting Finance, Operations, and IT, while collaborating with IFS (the vendor) when escalations or specialized fixes are required.
Address a recurring revenue recognition issue that has persisted since the January 2025 implementation.
Validate data, troubleshoot report discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of revenue outputs.
IFS Administrative Support (Ad‑Hoc)Handle day‑to‑day IFS admin tasks including user setup, permissions/role updates, and system configuration changes.
Perform basic troubleshooting for issues escalated by internal teams.
Coordinate directly with IFS vendor support as needed.
Business Operations SupportManage new employee onboarding within IFS (user provisioning, access, security alignment).Provide light project management for small enhancements, configuration requests, updates, and cross‑team coordination.
Internal Collaboration & SchedulingWork with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to schedule working sessions (especially around month‑end).Flex your weekly hours depending on needs—some weeks lighter, others busier around close.
