Job Description
The Data Center Supervisor oversees daily operations in a fast-paced start-up data center environment, ensuring consistent uptime, operational efficiency, and team performance. Supervisors are needed across all shifts, including weekday, overnight, and weekend coverage, to support 24/7 operations in a facility that requires physical activity, varying temperatures, and continuous coordination with technical and facilities teams. This role is formultiple shifts as stated below, please provide your chocie. 1st

- 4:00 PM, Monday
- Friday 2nd
- 2:30 PM
- Midnight, Monday
- Friday 3rd
- 10:30 PM
- 8:00 AM, Sunday
- Thursday About the Role
- Lead, train, schedule, and mentor a team of Data Center Technicians.
- Monitor data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, hardware installations, and network systems.
- Ensure timely incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee workflow management, ticketing systems, work orders, and task assignments.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, security protocols, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for equipment, inventory, and operational processes.
- Partner with IT, Engineering, Facilities, and Security teams to support seamless operations.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and support vendor activities.
- Provide shift reports and communicate issues or escalations to management.
- Support start-up environment initiatives such as process development, continuous improvement, and scaling operations. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, facilities, or a related technical environment.
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of data center systems (power, cooling, hardware installation, cabling, network fundamentals).
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ticketing/work order systems and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to walk, lift up to 40 lbs, work in hot/cold environments, and perform physical tasks as required.
- Willingness to work assigned shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekend) and support occasional overtim Preferred Skills
- Experience in a start-up or rapidly scaling operational environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA), or similar.
- Exposure to lean processes or continuous improvement frameworks.
