  • Data Center to be responsible for assisting in the buyout process and leading the coordination and field installation process for MEP Systems.

Responsibilities Reviews MEP Scopes of Work and equipment pre-purchases for accuracy and completeness Assists in the development of the MEP Construction and Commissioning Schedule Enforces quality controls policies and inspections on the MEP trades Interfaces with commissioning agent to ensure the commissioning process is being executed to meet expectations Executes the submittal and RFI review and coordination for MEP disciplines Coaches and mentors less experienced team members Supports a positive and inclusive work environment Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 3-5 years related field experience Previous experience on hyperscale data center construction projects is desired OSHA 30 hour certified Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to work in a team environment and manage project subcontractors Ability to collaborate on a daily basis with the project team Ability to demonstrate both engineering and field supervision capabilities MEP construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction Ability to adapt to changing needs by utilizing excellent problem-solving skills Strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
