Job Description
Job Summary Our client, a leading communications provider, is seeking a SQL Developer to join a team responsible for building and supporting custom business and billing solutions. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop SQL-based solutions, support ETL processes, perform testing, and maintain documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development skills, experience working with data integrations, and a willingness to learn new systems and business processes. Core Responsibilities Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder meetings Develop and maintain SQL-based solutions supporting business operations and reporting needs Create and support ETL processes for data movement and transformation Work with Snowflake, SQL, Python, and C# to develop custom solutions Perform testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution Create and maintain technical documentation in Word and GitLab Support production environments and participate in an on-call rotation Collaborate with business users and technical teams from project intake through deployment Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 2+ years of SQL development experience Strong experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts Experience with ETL processes and data integration Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or data processing Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Exposure to C# development Experience supporting production applications Familiarity with GitLab or similar source control platforms Experience participating in an on-call support rotation Key Competencies & Behaviors Curious and eager to learn new technologies and business systems Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-starter who can work independently and ask questions when needed Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits Collaborative team player who enjoys solving business problems Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
