Data Developer

Exemplar Health is a healthcare company with multiple divisions including pharmacy, wholesale distribution, major medical health insurance, and third-party logistics. We are looking for a skilled Data Developer to help build and support business intelligence and reporting solutions through SQL-focused development. Salary $70,000 - $120,000 Benefits Profit Share Program (4-6% company contribution with no employee contribution required) Health Insurance — 90% company-paid for employees and families Annual Christmas Bonus 6 Paid Holidays Position Overview The Data Developer will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support analytics and reporting across the organization. This role works closely with data architects, BI developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable datasets. Responsibilities Write, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries Develop and maintain database objects including: Tables Views Stored Procedures Indexes Functions Support data transformations, validations, and reporting processes Collaborate within an agile development environment Use Git/GitKraken and DevOps practices for version control and deployments Deliver clean, well-documented, production-ready solutions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field Equivalent work experience may be considered 3-6 years of experience in data development or data engineering Strong SQL experience and database development knowledge Experience optimizing queries and handling data transformations Experience using Git or GitKraken in structured deployment environmentsPreferred Qualifications Experience with EDI and AS2 integrations What Success Looks Like Reliable and well-documented data pipelines in production Accurate, high-performing datasets used for reporting and BI Reduced data quality issues through strong validation and modeling practices Strong collaboration with both technical teams and business partners Equal Opportunity Employer Exemplar Health is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
