Oracle DBA

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to manage and support complex, enterprise-level database platforms. This role involves database administration, performance optimization, cloud integration, and ensuring high availability across critical systems. The position requires strong technical expertise, ownership, and the ability to support end-to-end database services in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform database administration for Oracle and Snowflake environments including SQL code review, performance analysis, query tuning, and physical data modeling Monitor database servers proactively and respond to alerts and incidents Provide database support across all phases of the software development lifecycle Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for production support, maintenance, and deployments Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity, and capacity planning teams Diagnose database issues and implement solutions or workarounds efficiently Manage multiple priorities and projects with strong time management skills Establish and maintain database standards for operations, upgrades, migrations, and onboarding Create and maintain clear technical documentation for processes and procedures Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with expertise in Oracle RAC and Exadata Strong experience in database performance tuning and query optimization Experience supporting application teams in troubleshooting performance-related issues 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, or Azure 2+ years of experience in Snowflake database administration Experience with Linux shell scripting and PL/SQL development Experience working with databases in Linux and Windows environments Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with distributed replication technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate Experience in financial services or related domains
