Job Description
Data Center Engineer (On-Site) A technology-focused firm is hiring a hands-on Data Center Engineer to support physical infrastructure across multiple facilities in New Jersey. Responsibilities Install, rack, cable, and maintain servers and network hardware Monitor and troubleshoot hardware issues; coordinate repairs with vendors Manage inventory and maintain accurate documentation Partner with colocation providers and internal teams to support deployments Requirements 5+ years in data center or hardware infrastructure roles Strong experience with servers, networking, and fiber cabling Working knowledge of Linux and basic networking Ability to work on-site, travel locally, and support occasional off-hours work
