10+ Years Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Database Developer with strong expertise in Sybase, Oracle, and MS SQL Server technologies along with exposure to Azure Cloud and Data Engineering platforms. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-grade database solutions within large-scale environments. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain complex database solutions using Sybase, Oracle, and MS SQL Server.
- Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, and complex SQL queries.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Work on database migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.
- Support data processing, ETL pipelines, and enterprise data engineering activities.
- Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and cloud teams.
- Implement and support Azure cloud-based data solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, backup, recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Participate in production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Create technical documentation and follow best practices for database development. Required Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on database development experience.
- Strong expertise in: o Sybase ASE o Oracle / PL-SQL o MS SQL Server / T-SQL
- Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.
- Experience with database design, indexing, partitioning, and optimization.
- Exposure to Azure Cloud technologies.
- Experience with Data Engineering concepts and ETL/Data Pipeline development.
Knowledge of:
o Azure Data Factory (ADF) o Azure Synapse o Databricks oSSIS/ETL
tools- Experience working in enterprise production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud migration projects.
- Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
