Nexeo Staffing is hiring Data Center NPI Builds Associates to support New Product Introduction (NPI), equipment testing, and early-phase build activities in a newly constructed data center environment. This role is hands-on, technical, and ideal for candidates who enjoy working with hardware, tools, and structured build processes. You will support new system integration, rack installations, electronic component assembly, and material handling while working in an area that is under active construction.   • Support new product implementation (NPI) and system testing within a construction-phase data center environment
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound freight, verifying accurate documentation and shipment records
  • Perform detailed quality inspections. Confirm part numbers, quantities, and ensure materials meet condition standards
  • Assist with daily inventory cycle counts, replenishment of spare parts, supplies, and PPE across the site
  • Process returns of electronic components using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Accurately place server racks using laser measurement tools to meet 100% placement accuracy
  • Assemble and install electronic components and cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack-mounted hardware using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Operate material handling equipment including straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Conduct self-checks for quality control and report issues or improvement opportunities
  • Follow SOPs, documentation requirements, and strict safety/security protocols
  • Lift, push, pull, and move materials and equipment throughout the workday (up to 50 lbs) Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in data center operations, IT hardware assembly, electronics production, logistics, warehouse work, or similar environments
  • OSHA 10 required before starting (training cost covered)
  • Strong technical aptitude; comfortable working with computers, electronics, tools, and hardware diagrams
  • Experience assembling or repairing computers, IT hardware, or electronics (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or WMS systems
  • Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, part labels, and technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and adaptability.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work on the data center floor
  • Reliable transportation to the worksite on USA Parkway
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must pass a national background check (no felonies ever; no misdemeanors in the last 7 years)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test Pay $25.00 Per Hour Schedule Full-Time | Day Shift | 6:30am - 3:30pm | Monday - Friday
  • Must be willing and available to work OT as needed
