Contract Health Coverage Available We are seeking multiple Data Center Technicians to support installation, decommissioning, and maintenance activities within a large-scale data center environment. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with experience in structured cabling, fiber optics, low-voltage systems, and network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure within data center environments. Pull, route, label, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling. Install ladder racks, seismic bracing, and under-floor/overhead cable pathways. Perform fiber splicing, including ribbon and single-fiber OSP/ISP splicing. Install, connect, troubleshoot, and decommission network equipment. Conduct copper and fiber testing using DSX-5000, OTDR, and other testing equipment. Program testers, download results to LinkWare/LinkWare Live, validate and submit test reports. Create and apply mass labeling according to port maps and project standards. Read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, design documents, and redlines. Differentiate live circuits from decommissioned infrastructure. Support service swaps of live networking equipment. Maintain documentation, test records, and project paperwork. Follow all safety, quality, and data center operational procedures. Required Qualifications Experience working in Data Center environments. Knowledge of low-voltage cabling installation and testing. Experience with fiber optic termination, troubleshooting, and splicing. Ability to read and interpret floor plans and technical drawings. Familiarity with MDF/IDF closet layouts and cable management best practices. Experience using telecom hand tools and cable testing equipment. Understanding of wiring schemes, labeling standards, and structured cabling. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pull cables, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods.
