Months Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in the Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) suite. This role requires hands-on development experience along with functional understanding to design, develop, and support critical financial applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role across the full application lifecycle, including development, customization, upgrades, integrations, and production support in a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft FSCM applications across multiple modules. Write and optimize PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, SQRs, BI Publisher reports, and Integration Broker services. Support the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation. Perform impact analysis, retrofitting, and remediation during PeopleTools and FSCM upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Develop and manage integrations with internal and external systems using
REST/SOAP
services. Support data conversion, interface development, and system integration activities. Ensure compliance with internal development standards, security guidelines, and SOX/audit requirements. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, test plans, and user materials. Participate in performance tuning activities across SQL, queries, and batch processes.
Required:
10+ years of PeopleSoft technical development experience, with at least 7 years in FSCM modules. Strong expertise in PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker). Deep understanding of financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, Billing, and Project Costing. Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, patching, and retrofitting. Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills with experience documenting technical specifications. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
