Pay Range:
$20-25 This position is responsible for maintaining and updating Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOMs) and Material Master (MM) attributes in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (PTC Windchill). It will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Master Data Analysts, and Component Engineers to improve the quality of manufacturing part attribute data. At it's heart much of the role comes down to maintaining a good database of part data. Database administration is a key resource for Manufacturing Engineers allowing for greater adaptability, flexibility, and function as the teams subject matter expert. Working inside of PLM systems; Solving Cross site data errors; Providing feedback to strengthen database automation; Increasing synergy across teams and sites; Training new engineers; Metric Generation; Data Stewardship. A Manufacturing Database Administrator is on the forefront of LM's 1LMX Transition.
Basic Qualifications:
Great communicator Analytical skills with experience in databases Technical Background Manufacturing or Military Specification experience PLM Software (PTC products preferred) Must be able to solve technical problems with minimal direction (system errors and data mismatch)
Desired Skills:
STEM degree is desired but not required.
