Database Administrator (DBA) We are hiring a Database Administrator to manage and maintain our company's databases. The ideal candidate will have experience in database management, strong analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. As a DBA, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our databases. This includes monitoring database activity, optimizing database performance, and implementing disaster recovery plans. Additionally, you will troubleshoot any issues that arise and work closely with the development team to ensure smooth integration of new systems and applications. The role requires strong communication skills as you will be working with various teams within the company. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred for this position. Prior experience with SQL Server or Oracle is also required. This is a full-time position based in Akron with a salary of $1400 per month and accommodation provided.
